I know that in the real history the king Francis II ruled very little and was too young to leave a big mark in the history. But authors have presented Francis as the young, kind and merciful king in series “Reign”. But during his reign many misfortunest: plague, hunger, religious war, disorders in Scotland, the ally of France, discontent of the nobility and Louis Condé’s attempt to usurp a throne. And despite his kind heart, he had to fix these problems.
Unfortunately, the king Francis II has lived not for long, but being even dying, he did everything for the benefit of the country and a family to provide bright future.

[The Leopard] Battle between Francis II&39;s Army of the Two Sicilies & Redshirts of Giuseppe Garibaldi

The Leopard (1963 film)
Luchino Visconti’s The Leopard (Il Gattopardo) is an epic on the grandest possible scale. The film recreates, with nostalgia, drama, and opulence, the tumultuous years of Italy’s Risorgimento—when the aristocracy lost its grip and the middle classes rose and formed a unified, democratic Italy. Burt Lancaster stars as the aging prince watching his culture and fortune wane in the face of a new generation, represented by his upstart nephew (Alain Delon) and his beautiful fiancée (Claudia Cardinale). Awarded the Palme d’Or at the 1963 Cannes Film Festival, The Leopard translates Giuseppe Tomasi di Lampedusa’s novel, and the history it recounts, into a truly cinematic masterpiece.

Redshirts or Red coats or Garibaldini is the name given to the volunteers who followed the Italian patriot Giuseppe Garibaldi during campaigns in Uruguay and Italy, and later his son Ricciotti in Greece and the Balkans, from the 1840s to the 1910s.

붉은 셔츠단(이탈리아어: Camicie Rosse) 또는 붉은 코트단(이탈리아어: Giubbe Rosse)은 이탈리아 애국주의자인 주세페 가리발디와 그의 아들 리치오티 가르발디를 따라다닌 자원군을 일컫는 말이다. 붉은 셔츠단은 1840년대부터 1910년대까지 활동했으며, “가리발디니”라 불리는 셔츠의 색에서 단체의 이름이 탄생했다.

In this keynote talk from the 2020 Napa Institute, I trace the missionary purpose of Vatican II from the conciliar texts themselves, through the New Evangelization, and finally to the Magisterium of Pope Francis, whose influences situate him in a particular camp in this history.

ഭയപ്പെടേണ്ട, തിന്മയെ നന്മയ്ക്കാക്കി മാറ്റാൻ ദൈവീകശക്തിക്ക് കഴിയുമെന്നും പാപ്പ ഉദ്‌ബോധിപ്പിച്ചു. കൊടുങ്കാറ്റിന് നടുവിൽ വള്ളത്തിൽ അകപ്പെട്ട ശിഷ്യന്മാർ ഭയന്നുവിളിച്ച വചനഭാഗം ഉദ്ധരിച്ചുകൊണ്ടായിരുന്നു പാപ്പ സന്ദേശം നൽകിയത്. കൊടുങ്കാറ്റിന് നടുവിൽ വള്ളത്തിൽ അകപ്പെട്ട ശിഷ്യന്മാരെപോലെയാണ് നാം. നാമെല്ലാവരും ഒരേ വള്ളത്തിലെ യാത്രക്കാരാണെന്ന വലിയ ചിന്തയാണ് ‘കൊവിഡ് 19’ നൽകുന്നത്.

വള്ളം മറിയാൻ പോയപ്പോൾ, ദൈവമേ നീ ഇത് കാണുന്നില്ലേയെന്ന് ചോദിച്ച് ദൈവത്തെ വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിച്ച ശിഷ്യഗണത്തിന്റെ പ്രതിനിധികളാണ് നാം. എന്നാൽ, നിങ്ങൾ എന്തിനാണ് ഭയപ്പെടുന്നത്, നിങ്ങൾക്ക് വിശ്വാസമില്ലേ എന്നാണ് ദൈവം അവരോട് ചോദിച്ചത്. അതുതന്നയാണ് അവിടുന്ന് നമ്മോടും ചോദിക്കുന്നത്.

അതോടൊപ്പം തങ്ങളുടെ ജീവൻ അപകടത്തിലാണെന്ന് അറിഞ്ഞുകൊണ്ടുതന്നെ കൊവിഡ് ബാധിതരെ ശുശ്രൂഷിക്കുന്ന അരോഗ്യവിദഗ്ധർ, വൈദികർ, പൊലീസ് ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥർ, ഭരണാധികാരികൾ തുടങ്ങിയവരിൽനിന്ന് പാഠം ഉൾക്കൊള്ളാനുള്ള സമയവുമാണ്. പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവിന്റെ വലിയ പ്രേരണയാണ് അവർക്ക് ധൈര്യവും ശക്തിയും പ്രധാനം ചെയ്യുന്നതും.

അങ്ങനെ വിധി നിർണയിച്ച്, പാഠം ഉൾക്കൊണ്ട് പാപമോചനം നേടണമെന്ന് തിരിച്ചറിയുന്ന നിമിഷം മുതൽ നമ്മുടെ വിശ്വാസം ആരംഭിക്കുകയാണ്. നാം ദൈവസന്നിധിയിലേക്ക് തിരിയുകയും നമ്മുടെ ആശങ്കകളെ അവിടുത്തേക്ക് നൽകുകയുമാണെങ്കിൽ അവയൊക്കെ തരണം ചെയ്യാൻ അവിടുന്ന് നമ്മെ പ്രാപ്തനാക്കും. എന്തെന്നാൽ, അതാണ് ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ശക്തി. സംഭവിക്കുന്ന തിന്മകൾക്കിടയിലും ദൈവത്തോട് ചേർന്നുനിന്നാൽ അവയെക്കെ അവിടുന്ന് നന്മയാക്കി മാറ്റും. അവിടത്തോടൊപ്പം നിന്നാൽ ജിവിതം ഒരിക്കലും മരണതുല്യമാവില്ല.

ഒറ്റപ്പെടലുകൾക്ക് നടുവിൽ, ക്രിസ്തു ഉയിർത്തെഴുന്നേറ്റ് നമുക്കരികിൽ ജീവിക്കുന്നുവെന്ന, നമ്മുടെ രക്ഷയ്ക്ക് കാരണമായ ആ വിളംബരത്തിന് കാതോർക്കാം. ഈ കാലഘട്ടത്തിൽ നാം അനുഭവിക്കുന്ന വിഷമങ്ങളോടുകൂടിതന്നെ അവിടുത്തെ കുരിശിനെ ചേർത്തുപിടിക്കാം.അങ്ങനെ ജീവിതത്തിന് പ്രത്യാശ നേടാം. വിശ്വാസത്തിന്റെ ശക്തിയും അതുതന്നെയാണ്. ഭയത്തിൻനിന്ന് നമ്മെ വിമുക്തരാക്കി നമുക്ക് പ്രത്യാശ നൽകുന്ന വലിയ ശക്തിയാണതെന്നും പാപ്പ കൂട്ടിച്ചേർത്തു.
