We regret to announce that on January 19, 2022, we had to say goodbye to Stephen Charles Lehmeyer, who was born in Farmington, MN, in Minneapolis, MN. You can send your condolences in the guestbook provided and share with your family.

His predecessors: his brother, Bob Lemeyer; his in-laws, Geno Ervasti and Cheri Ervasti; his stepfather, Gary Mattson; and his grandparents, Charles, Maris Grigor, and Mabel Lemmier.

His relics are: his parents Lynne Mattson and Gary Lehmeyer; his children Kelly and Colin; his wife James; his stepmother Sharon Lehmeyer; his sister Nicole Rozeske (Tony); his Brother-in-law Jenny Schwamb and Jason Schwamb; and his niece and nephew, Sydney and Kyler Schwamb. Many other family members and friends also survived.

In honor of Steve’s life, the family is requesting that all charitable donations go to the Colon Cancer Coalition.

Stephen Charles Lehmeyer

Stephen Charles Lemeyer of Farmington passed away in a tragic accident on January 19, 2022 at the age of 44.

Steve was a kind and loving husband and a very devoted and devoted father. Steve loves life and people with all his heart. He is a perfect son, brother, uncle/flicker, cousin and friend. There has never been a cuter person.

Steve is a giver. He didn’t waste a minute of his life. When he’s not working, he’s helping and serving. Steve spent his time at Farmington Lutheran operating the screens and sound system. He and his family are involved in several charities, such as fundraising for colon and breast cancer, sounding the alarm for the Salvation Army, awarding scholarships to several high school graduates, and generously sponsoring local sports clubs. Giving back to the community is his passion. Steve is very proud of his position with the Farmington Youth Hockey Association. No matter the size of the mission, Steve has always succeeded in one way or another for the good of the hockey community. All with smiles. Steve was impressed with everything he touched.

Steve was born on January 5, 1978, to Lynne Mattson and Gary Lehmeyer in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He is the youngest of the three. He treasures his relationship with brother Bob and sister Nicole.

Steve graduated from Rosemont High School in 1996 with a degree from Inver Hill College. In 2000, he became a licensed real estate agent, and 7 years later he opened his own brokerage firm, Transition Realty. Transition Realty created an even greater opportunity for Steve to show his love and support to his community. Whether it’s hosting the annual Customer Appreciation Golf Tournament at South Hills Golf Course or driving students to school every morning as a beloved bus driver for over 15 years, Steve loves his community unconditionally. Steve is a planner, whether it’s a family reunion, golf with friends, or a vacation, his main goal is to bring people together. Steve also enjoys planning many golf trips with friends he is very grateful for. You will also often find Steve golfing at the local golf course with his clients and friends. He benefits from the opportunity to socialize. Steve is the one who brings everyone together.

Steve’s greatest pride is his family. In sixth grade, he met the love of his life, James. They have been dating since they were 17 and recently celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary. They have two beautiful children, Kelly and Colin. Steve is proud of her. No matter how busy life gets, Steve makes it a priority to hug or stop and talk to make sure everything and everyone is okay. They enjoy traveling together, playing golf, playing field games, spending time in the cabin, having dinner with family, and hanging out with friends and family.

Steve is survived by wife James; daughter Kelly; son Colin; mother and father Lynne Mattson and Gary Lehmeyer; stepmother Sharon Lehmeyer; sister, Nicole (Tony) Rozesk; sister-in-law, Jenny Schwanb; niece With nephews Sydney and Kyler Schwamb; brother-in-law Jason Schwamb and many other family members and friends. Steve was killed by his brother Bob LeMayer, father-in-law Jayno Ervasty, mother-in-law Cherry Ervasty, stepfather Gary Mattson and grandparents Charles and Marise Grigor and Mabel LeMayer died.

The Celebration of Life will be Friday, January 28 at 2:00 pm at Brackett’s Crossing, 17976 Judicial Road, Lakeville, MN 55044, followed by fellowship time. In honor of Steve’s life, the family is requesting that all charitable donations go to the Colon Cancer Coalition. The service will be live streamed at tigers.mylivegame.com
